A space to slow down, learn, and understand yourself more clearly.

The Comfy Couch Story

How “The Comfy Couch” came to be, a little backstory.

When I was thinking about how I wanted to design a therapeutic space, I knew I wanted it to feel right. Safe, grounded, and inviting in a way that went beyond how it looked.

What came to mind was something from my own life. I had a friend I used to sit with on the couch for hours, talking about everything. The conversations moved through different layers, light at times, deep at others, but there was always a sense of safety that made it possible to go there. It was a space where we could let each other in. That feeling stayed with me.

I wanted to carry that same energy, a place where people could land, soften, and feel safe enough to explore whatever came up. I wanted to create a space I once felt held in.

That’s how The Comfy Couch came to be. Modeled after a moment in my life where I wanted others to experience as well.

My Approach

I believe in creating a space that should feel like a place where you can slow down and make sense of your experiences without pressure or judgement. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I focus on helping you understand patterns, thoughts, and emotions that shape your life.

Because when things start to make sense change happens more naturally.

This work is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced in a way that feels right for you.

What’s been taking up the most space in your mind lately?
